Prenatal Yoga

Wednesdays: 7:15pm - 8:30pm

 

This prenatal practice will help you to relieve pregnancy aches and pains, prepare for birth, and connect with local moon mamas-to-be. Along with performing asana modified for the needs of your trimester, you'll cultivate a breathing and meditation practice, develop stamina and strength, improve balance and circulation, and deeply connect to the new life growing within you. Postnatal Yoga

Women are givers, but giving themselves priority doesn’t always happen. During Postnatal Yoga classes, the focus is on you mama, so you will be refreshed and ready to return to your baby again after class. Classes focus on rebuilding muscle tone, maintaining spinal integrity, toning and stretching the upper body, and cultivating space and ease. Classes are hosted at Drishti Power Yoga - Sea Girt Center 2100 Route 35 Wall, NJ


Restorative

Originating in the teachings of BKS Iyengar, Restorative Yoga is designed to restore the nervous system and help release deeply held tensions from the body and mind. This class consists of long holds and props to support the floor based asanas, while gently stretching and releasing the physical and subtle body. This class is appropriate for students of all levels and is welcome to Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga practitioners. Classes are hosted at Drishti Power Yoga - Sea Girt Center 2100 Route 35 Wall, NJ

 

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga invites you to slow down and create space for stillness while nourishing joints, ligaments, tendons and fascia. Asanas are seated, supine or prone and are held with muscles relaxed for several minutes. There is a focus on the breath, being present in the moment, relieving tension and letting go. The Yin practice includes powerful mental and emotional benefits as its practitioner becomes quiet, still and mindful of the present. Give yourself this opportunity to surrender, slow down and come back to balance. Slow Flow Vinyasa

Tuesdays
7:15pm- 8:15pm

 

This heated class balances precise instruction, alignment with breath, and fluid movement. Classes are carefully themed to deepen the students' experience of yoga. A flow of Sun Salutes and postures are skillfully sequenced, and modifications are used to individualize the practice for each student. Fertility Yoga

Yoga for fertility invites us to slow down and reduce stress, which greatly affects our fertility. In this class we focus on asanas that nourish the pelvis and reproductive organs, stimulate hormone producing glands, and release muscular tension. Special emphasis is placed on the practice of meditation which serves to deepen inner awareness, establishes trust in the body, and cultivates appreciation of our sacred sexuality. This practice not only helps us to relax, but seeks to establish a more loving connection to our bodies. This class is open to both men and women.
